This sounds like a typical shopping trip for me: “Okay, I’d like to get some of this stuff to stock up…but I really really need to get milk!” I’ll come home without the milk.

And, well, if you remembered all the staples besides salt, that’s pretty good!

It’s nice getting some help putting together some furniture’s. I just assembled a heavy wooden bed all by myself last night. That was not fun

Beth – If it wasn’t for this crazy idea to try to do NaBloPoMo, I don’t think I’d be taking the time to blog. I’m so tired at the end of the day, but that’s the only time I have to sit down and type too. But I think later on I’ll appreciate the tidbits that I’ve written.

Thank you for actually reading and commenting! I haven’t taken the time to respond to everything yet, but will when I have “real” Internet, and not just a mobile broadband card.

A blog that I read, the guy actually counted the number of times he had to sign his name when re-financing the house (which, from what I gather, is equivalent to buying in terms of paperwork). I think it was 29. The weird part for me was that I *always* sign with my middle initial–and there were times in the signing when they said “no middle initial” or “full name”; it felt wrong.

I’ve never heard of a bedroom before without ceiling lights, but most living rooms don’t have them. I was really happy that my living room has a ceiling fan with a light!

It’s hard with paint colors! My aunt talked me out of the neon color I wanted for the den, to one shade lighter (the den is in the basement with *no* winows, so it’s pretty dark. I wanted a weird, bright color for it!). It was probably the right choice!

I love that darker blue–I suggest doing something with accent colors in the room–even if you don’t paint, maybe an afgan or rug?
